Located on the second level at the Copra Shed Marina, these two beautifully appointed rooms are furnished with queen bed and tasteful faux cane furniture including writing desk, chest of drawers and comfortable armchair.  Amenities include tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen computer compatible TV.  Rooms are fully carpeted, air-conditioned and have an overhead fan.  Spacious tiled bathroom with hot/cold water adjoins bedroom.  Daily maid service provided.  Rooms are designated non-smoking.  Guest compendium provides details of services/facilities in Savusavu.  Telephone and Internet line available.

 The view from the rooms extends beyond the manicured lawns of the complex to the waters of Savusavu Bay and the town. The Marina is situated in Savusavu town about 10kms from the airport and is host to a variety of businesses including domestic airlines, travel agency/rental cars, internet services, handicraft store, Art Gallery, laundry services, liquor store, marina office and ship’s chandlery. Dine at water’s edge in absolutely the best location in town…. the Captains Café offers a varied café style menu with great pizzas, good steaks and fresh fish or dine at ‘Cruisers’ Savusavu’s only Japanese restaurant. Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail overlooking the water at the Savusavu Yacht Club where visitors are warmly welcomed.

The room prices include a complimentary Full Breakfast for two people per room @ The Captains Café on the ground floor.


    Other Services and Facilities

    • Garbage can be disposed of in the bins provided at the South East corner of the Marina compound. ALL garbage must be placed in plastic bags
    • The Toilets & Showers are normally kept locked. A key can be obtained from the office on payment of F$10.00 deposit
    • Mail sent to the Copra Shed mailbox can be collected in the office. The Copra Shed, in addition to the usual mooring and berthing facilities of the marina, is home to the following business ventures
    • The Captains Café – specialising in Pizza but also catering for other tastes
    • Express Currency Exchange – Handles foreign exchange transactions and Western Union money transfers
    • Fiji Link – a domestic airline operating services between Savusavu and Suva and Nadi. Also international bookings
    • Tradewinds Marine – ships chandlers
    • Tako Handicrafts – selling a variety of local handicrafts
    • The Captains Table Restaurant – Offering steak, seafood, curries and other dishes
    • Bayleys Real Estate – for all real estate enquiries
    • The Savusavu Yacht Club – home of the Savusavu optimist sailors and also provider of liquid refreshment. Overseas visitors can become temporary members of the club on payment of a small fee
    • Laundry – a full laundry and drying service is available

    Services in Savusavu

    • Banks – There are 2 banks in town, Westpac and Bank South Pacific. All handle foreign exchange transactions and credit card/debit card cash withdrawals, both over the counter and from ATM’s. Fees vary depending on the card issuer
    • Engineering/mechanical/ refrigeration services are limited. Ask prices first. Simple tasks only
    • Morris Hedstrom have most western type supermarket goods and sell liquor at both their stores
    • The Local Market has fantastic vegetables and seafood. Best day is Saturday
    • Pharmacy items are available at Savusavu Pharmacy (opposite the bus stand)
    • Fishing gear at Chhaganlal’s. They also have other goods
    • Gas. It’s mostly butane.Take a taxi to “FIJI GAS” three km’s east of town for gas refills. Don’t go at lunch time. Costs around $2 per kilo. Taxi fare around $8. Call on 8850437. They have adaptors to fit most bottles
    • There is a good auto electrician in town. His name is Pillay and his shop is marked on the town plan at the CSM. He will come to the boat. Electrician, not electronics
    • Fumigation – This can be arranged through Rentokil in Labasa
    • The Cousteau Dive Shop welcomes you for tank fills, dives, courses and gear hire. They have Nitrox. They sometimes dive Namena Island and quite often want extra’s. Call 8850694
    • Restaurants in Savusavu (All the restaurants in town are worth a try)
    • Surf & Turf almost opposite the Post Office. It features ssteak and lobster dishes and also indian cuisine. Has a liquor license
