About Us
Nestled in the heart of Savusavu, Copra Shed Marina is more than just a marina. We are a historic landmark, a hub for nautical enthusiasts, and a vibrant community space. With over 30 years of service, we are proud to be a cornerstone of Savusavu’s rich maritime heritage.
Port Clearance
The first task is to clear in with the Quarantine/ Health/ Immigration and Customs officials. These have already been alerted to your arrival and the necessary clearance forms have been handed to you for completion.
YOU MUST NOT COME ASHORE UNTIL PERMITTED TO DO SO BY THE OFFICIALS.
The officials are only available between 8 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday. Overtime charges are payable at all other times and on public holidays.A quarantine fee of $200.00 and a clearance fee of F$25.00 is payable to the Copra Shed. A Health quarantine fee of F$172.50 is charged and must be paid at the health office. Biosecurity- a fee of $89.70 is charged.
Marina Fees
The fees for use of the Copra Shed services a include use of dinghy dock, showers, toilets, garbage disposal, potable water (containers only), mail pick up and forwarding (Fiji only) and Weather Fax daily.
Accommodation
Located on the second level at the Copra Shed Marina, these two beautifully appointed rooms are furnished with queen bed and tasteful faux cane furniture including writing desk, chest of drawers and comfortable armchair. Amenities include tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen computer compatible TV. Rooms are fully carpeted, air-conditioned and have an overhead fan. Spacious tiled bathroom with hot/cold water adjoins bedroom. Daily maid service provided. Rooms are designated non-smoking. Guest compendium provides details of services/facilities in Savusavu. Telephone and Internet line available.
The view from the rooms extends beyond the manicured lawns of the complex to the waters of Savusavu Bay and the town. The Marina is situated in Savusavu town about 10kms from the airport and is host to a variety of businesses including domestic airlines, travel agency/rental cars, internet services, handicraft store, Art Gallery, laundry services, liquor store, marina office and ship’s chandlery. Dine at water’s edge in absolutely the best location in town…. the Captains Café offers a varied café style menu with great pizzas, good steaks and fresh fish or dine at ‘Cruisers’ Savusavu’s only Japanese restaurant. Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail overlooking the water at the Savusavu Yacht Club where visitors are warmly welcomed.
The room prices include a complimentary Full Breakfast for two people per room @ The Captains Café on the ground floor.

Garbage
Can be disposed of in the bins provided at the South East corner of the Marina compound. ALL garbage must be placed in plastic bags

The Savusavu Yacht Club – home of the Savusavu optimist sailors and also provider of liquid refreshment. Overseas visitors can become temporary members of the club on payment of a small fee
